    Greetings from Mexico

Another belated post of vacation photos. Rodrigo and I traveled to Mexico this past May to celebrate his birthday. We visited 4 cities in 8 days. It was a jam-packed schedule but we still managed to find time to relax at the beach. I have a ton of pictures from Frida Kahlo’s home in Mexico City. I couldn’t resist taking pictures of the beautiful blue walls and the lush gardens. Oaxaca was also a super fun city to photograph. I loved the bustling marketplace. My biggest goal was to use two rolls of film in a short amount of time. I was just shy of that, but I’m very happy…

    Llamas and Snow

I was more upset over the lost film than the actual camera itself (even though the camera also had sentimental value). Snippets from 2015

Sad but true: this one roll of black and white film spans from February through October 2015. One of my goals this past trip in Peru was to take a lot of photos on film. When I usually get my film developed, I go through photographer’s remorse when I realize how little I’ve captured. Unfortunately, this still happened during my most recent trip in early October. I swear I took more photos, but I guess it all ended up in my iPhone instead. Part two of Peru is coming up… as soon as I finish my roll of film.   California, February 2015 Berkeley   San Francisco   Santa Cruz…

    Peru Travels

Another post where I admit that I am terrible at posting photos. It is nearing a year since I traveled to Peru and it’s about time that I post the photos that I took. This is where I also admit that I am a horrible tourist – especially when I only bring a film camera. I’m really hesitant to take pictures when it’s on film because it’s so expensive to buy film and develop. Every picture counts. So of course, when I got all my pictures developed, I realized how little I had taken while I was there. Oops. Granted, I took a lot more pictures on my phone, but…
