The “New” Aqua
Well it seems that the band Aqua has reinvented themselves. I didn’t know that they were back in the music scene… Well, to be really honest, I don’t really listen to their stuff other than Barbie Girl and Dr. Jones. I don’t even know if they made any music after that album. But this ad campaign that I found on the Fashionisto caught my eye. They’re going on a world tour? Wow, that’s news to me. I love the post-apocalyptic look. Reminds me of YA books. Hah. I may actually look up their music now…

Sydney Part 2
After hearing that Brett Dennen will be in NYC in May, I am now seriously considering seeing him! I’ve loved his songs for a while now so I think it’s about time I saw him live. I’m low on cash, but I may just find a way. Tickets, after all, aren’t that expensive.

I did something spontaneous tonight. I got a text from my friend Pratik an hour before the Katy Perry concert started. He got free tickets through AT&T and Windows and he needed someone to go with. I was in the middle of making dinner, but I dropped everything and rushed to get ready. I was so happy I went! We got pretty good spots. Being short, I couldn’t see the whole time, but I had a lot of fun nonetheless. I think the highlight of the night was when Katy Perry started to sing “Peacock” – just because I had the song stuck in my head the whole day yesterday.…
